A unique opportunity has arisen for a Garden Designer/Landscape Architect within Sylvia Newman Garden Design for someone with a flair for designing private and public spaces. This is an opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the business from designing through to selling.

Sylvia Newman Garden Design Ltd is a garden architecture business offering clients complete turnkey design, build and maintenance services. We are market leaders in the Cambridge area, creating high end gardens from concept to creation.
We accept commissions for both private and commercial clients and approach each new project with our signature commitment to style and excellence
2 OUR OPPORTUNITY
A unique opportunity has arisen for a Garden Designer within Sylvia Newman Garden Design and someone with a flair for designing private and public spaces. This is an opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the business from designing through to selling.
You will have the opportunity to work on all stages of the project from initial site visit, concept design, detailed design, cost estimates and project management. You will have the opportunity to manage budgets and timescales as well as client care.
The work will be diverse, coordinating several projects at different stages at the same time. You will be communicating with our in-house construction team, clients and suppliers on a regular basis. A good knowledge of plants and planting plans is essential
There is an opportunity for accommodation to be provided if required.
You will have the ability to produce design and construction drawings in appropriate packages for client and site use, converting from CAD into other drawing packages, as well as be able to use Sketchup and Photoshop. You will need to have the ability to learn new packages.
